7/613 – Clean your houses
Yaakov, Béla Orbán
"the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses." (Exodus 12.15)
From the first day of Pessah (14th to 21st of the month of Nissan) it is necessary to clean away from our house all things that contain leaven. (From our living space...)
Without this action (the cleaning of the hamets), it would be impossible to keep the order of the consumption of bread without leaven (pessah)…
Indeed, nowadays, all the Jewish families remove everything from their houses, that may ferment, rotten or become moldy.
However, when we look for the spiritual and psychic sense of this law, we must realize that it is also valid for all of us:
- As a Jew, it is the remembrance of the Exodus, and remembrance of the quick consumption of the bred without leaven (unleavened matzot/azymes bread).
- As well as for those who, on the other hand remember the "Evening of Seder", when Yeshua HaMashiach sat at the top of the table with His followers, surrounded by His real family, already at this moment!
Because the Last Supper is this constant "reminder of Seder Evening" that we can remind on only after having cleansed away any leaven and sin from our spirit and soul…
Preparing for the reinforcement of the Covenant by the internal cleaning and the settlement of our sins...
