FALSE REVIVALS AND MOVEMENTS

From an experience of more than 50 years

After having been living several decades as a Christian and today living as a Jew serving Christ, I stop for a moment and look behind in the past to summarize the situation.

    I’m asking the question to myself: Where have been passed all those people who started with so much faith and impulse 50 years ago? Where are the different revivals, renewing and movements together with their numerous members who were so enthusiastic in that time?
I knew lots of those people and I have been the witness of their brightness. I also often tried to know them more closely expecting to find something new and better than before and I sometimes even managed to make some friends among them.  
I always wanted to find people that could lead me forward to a better and spiritually deeper life. I was always waiting for the moment when my hopes would turn to reality and I would even pay the price to reach those changes.  
    I remember the good days, the events and beautiful experiences.
I have been the witness of miracles and of the manifestations of the Holy Spirit...
But I still felt the lack of something. Something has changed after a moment. Something has been turned to another direction; something had terribly faded away and tarnished. Lots of things appeared that revealed lots of serious and false phenomenon that were functioning in the assemblies.  

After a few decades, I just have realized one thing!
Except a few cases, they were practically all traps!

    What has happened then? What could have killed thousands of faithful spiritual lives?
Why are they sleeping? Why all this pain and dizziness? Why did so many faithful lives that began with so much joy, power and dynamism get in such a situation?
It was due to this insane religiousness that I turned away from the right way and started to follow my own in the world. Despite of my failings, I was in a much better spiritual situation compared to them. My life was much more well-balanced and radiant than theirs. Compared to these stagnating and lethargic people, I had the impression of flying above them...
They claimed that they were belonging to Pentecostals charismatic movements and for today, it is me that the Lord uses when, by the action of His Holy Spirit, He sometimes makes miracles during my ministries.

    I had to come to a very sad conclusion: even in that time all this was nothing else like a trap in order to mislead the faithful.
Today, I have to recognize that this trap was very simple.
Nevertheless it was very efficient because the treacherous tempter was using it day after day!

For this reason I live as I do and I think to be my duty to unmask the methods of this falsity!  
I do this for 2 reasons:  
1- A new explosion is to be expected in our country when a big assembly in vogue is going to collapse and fall apart very soon.  
2- To avoid a new wave of «revivals» among those who live and want to remain alive.

    If we add all the resemblances between all the characteristics of the «big» revivals of these last few decades, we can remark lots of similarities that are practically identical in the methods that were used.

- Those who want to find a solution to the problem and stop the mortal process finish to leave sooner or later the assemblies where religiousness is ruling. Those ones soon become aware that restoration works are simply superficial and short-live solutions to the problems, vain pharisaic medicines.

- Then small groups, central circles develop that finish moving away from the assembly.  

- These circles finish up getting under a common spiritual rule. In a word, they stand in their original community by pure formality, by respect of the church’s laws or simply by habit.  

In other cases only a few familial link are the only ropes relying them to each other.

- The time will come when in the beginning, these circles will try to get closer to each other by organizing conferences or other extra-confessional events where they will meet and make contacts with other people who think like them. New spiritual ropes appear that rely these little groups to each other, while the belonging to a former assembly or church remains only a simple formality from this moment.

- Then the calling cry, the appeal to the gathering will sound to invite people to form another church in the church or even a totally new one.

The explication of all this lies in the breaking off with the past and its denying.  
That’s exactly in that kind of case that appears a certain form of pride which consists in thinking being above others and more valuable than them.  
The experience from the past shows in fact that these phenomenon appear most of the time among the so called “charismatic revival” or “new…” movements.
 
What are the consequences of all this?

- People who aspire to revival and reinforcement, the ones who could have get further and show the way to others are removed from the assemblies!

This way, the weak are getting weaker and fall in a deeper state of lethargy.

How do they build the "renewing" up?

- The faithful searching for something new rushes into these renewing movements thinking that they are winners in all points and get under the power of men, movements and new earthly institutions called churches.  

- they get rather quickly under a superior’s domination who thinks that he is allowed to give tasks and ministries to others. Most of the time both of them are convinced to follow the Will of God, but in most cases these projects come from a human will, from the soul and not from the spirit. The so governed faithful feel to be their duty to fulfil this men-given mission and devote themselves to it thinking that they serve the Lord.

In other words, they accept and submit to mystified spiritual powers and get under the rule of false authorities that distributes the tasks to do between each other.

Some of them are even expressing their thanks to their superiors, according to the false interpretation of the hierarchical order explained by Paul the apostle. This problem comes also from the "palism" (wrong interpretation of the letters of Paul coming from the catholic misunderstanding of them which roots stand in Hellenism, so in paganism).

- A new process has  formed  whose main aim is to keep the faithful in a spiritual under age.

The beginning of the crises:

- The enthusiasm rapidly fades away. New aspirants to the throne grew up. Rivalry starts. Jealousy, clans and all the sins resulting from these feelings appear and reinforce the way to separation…

- Quarrels, divisions and rebellions arise soon…

- This process spreads such as a virus or a contagious disease…

- The "people" for itself, pushed by the explosion of panic starts running in every direction or escapes definitely.

 

The result:

-    ……………………….. he doesn’t find his place anymore

He cannot return in his original assembly.
He is unable to start a new assembly because of his spiritual lack.
Moreover his deception makes him sad and pessimistic.

What Satan was unable to swallow by one bite, he cut it up into little pieces to eat them more easily and gleefully…
The believer who hasn’t got any brothers and sisters or a community and he hasn’t got any spiritual covering either and so becomes a very easy target due to the lack of those protections.  
This kind of believer withdraws and lives as a “Christian of caverns” or remains just a simple external observer of the community to which he doesn’t really belong any longer.

Were all those new beginnings all real revivals?
The individual’s intention was surely it..., but all has got another direction!

It was really a trap that caused a triple damage:

-    The ancient, the one that was sleeping didn’t get revived

-    The revival that happened was big and spectacular for a certain time

-    Those that were yearning for revival broke away from all this

An ancient and basic truth is that we can reach a revival after a breaking but further breakings always follow the first one. All this can easily lead toward the entire isolation of individuals.
Another basic law is that life should be brought into ill and dying places and should not be removed from where it barely  exists!

Finally we have to learn that for us life is nothing else but Christ who showed us and fulfilled the Laws by bringing the judgment together with the gift of His Grace.
The Word which became Flesh is nothing else but God’s Law that became Orders for us in Christ!
Where the Old Testament, the Prophecies, the Jews and the Revealed Law and their Fulfilling in Yeshua HaMashiach, the Anointed King are denied, no revival is really possible.  

All the miracles and the manifestations of the Holy Spirit are given by God to make us recognise and accept Christ’s, the Messiah’s Reign.  
Miracles are occurring so that we could accept the Kingdom that was proposed to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob by the Constitution of this Kingdom: the Covenant, the Testament whose members coming from the nations can also be the inheritors and the citizens thanks to the expansion of the Testament, by rejoining the Body of Christ. God has given and entrust the knowledge and the teaching of His Kingdom’s eternal Laws to His People on the Mount Sinai.
These eternal Laws are the ones that became effective by our judgment and by the possibility of accepting the Grace offered by the Lord on the Golgotha.

Everything started very well..., as always, well and spectacularly...

Then people haven’t made the following step that brings from Jesus to Christ, to the Reign of Christ and by this Reign to the fulfilment of the Spirit of Christ in each of them. The fulfilment of the Spirit which goes on doing the spiritual battles, the releases and the purification of our hearths, in us and among our communities so that everything could go on under the unique Reign of Christ.

Conversion is not enough. Recognising Jesus is not enough in itself! We must go further the Golgotha towards Resurrection, being born again, the Reign of Christ’s Spirit in us. Finally it is due to this gap that the lack of the knowledge of God, of humility, of devotion and of God’s respect stands everywhere. Without the acceptance of the Laws, everything is just a vain theological Hellenistic and pagan attempt.  

So the trap:  
was to remove and gather all values to be able then to spread them away.

My dear brother!

Is there anyone who’s able to welcome, greet and gather all those valuable seeds that fly around?  
The number of them wanting to land in some fertile field will increase very soon. Again…
Are you ready to lead them to Christ’s Reign before they get in the net of some false preaching pirates again?  
Those pirates who can’t stop using the words of prophetic and apostolic movements?
Or don’t you see that those pirates try to pick the real faithful out the religious and sleepy assemblies while preventing the remaining majority from escaping from death. They attempt to extinguish the survived members and not to bring the flame of life…!
However the real aims are clear: enrichment, accumulation of material goods, success and New Age…while preaching something that is “biblical”, “apostolic” and “new”!
That’s what happened 40 years ago, 30 years ago,…
Is there really nobody to raise the alarm?

Does it still remain some men who teach the real values, the knowledge of God, of His Laws, humility and devotion so that under the Reign of Christ the real functioning of the Holy Spirit could widen the Body of the Messiah with saved souls?

So time has come to accept the prophecy of the Grafting in and the Grafting back and to serve in order to fulfil it.
It is the unique antidote to the false Christian and charismatic power-hierarchy and the only way to restore the order and re-establish the Body of Christ!

If only the bad experiences of the past could be good examples to us.
If only these experiences could be the starting point of a revival for those who were misled avoiding them falling in a false movement again.
And if only these experiences could unveil those false movements that try to remove the good, the clean and the living things from the dying assemblies again and again to stop their mortal plan in time.

…At the end of the century thousands of Christian faithful were broken, misled and have finally gone away from God.  
All this could happen because there was nobody that could have warned them for the dangers in order to stop these trendy movements.

New breakings are to come very soon. The signs of it are already discernible in the air.

So we, that have experienced the functioning of those negative powers, mostly called "charismatic", we must warn the others.  
We must re-establish God’s order as soon as possible for them. God’s name, Christ’s Reign and the unique authority of the Holy Spirit whose power is not given from man to man.
