Who is the Messiah and what is Messianism, Messianic…?

Perhaps you should be surprised not to see appearing the word Jewish besides these expressions although it generally does in many teachings or denominations of assemblies or churches. 
Is it a lack of knowledge or culture from us or is this intentional? 
Are we afraid of revealing our membership to the Jewish community in public?
For all these reasons it is necessary to make clear and precise the real sense of these words in order to use them correctly and avoid any abuse.   

 

Messianic:

 

This word supposes that its user do believe in the Anointed King whose Hebrew name is HaMashiach, Christos in Greek.
The Jewish People is waiting for the Messiah while Christendom is waiting for the return of Christ.  
So both people (...or perhaps even more than that) are Messianic.   
These two words have various meanings and define different groups of persons. We must know if anyone believes in the Messiah, whether he is waiting for His arrival or for His return.  
Let us not forget that even Satan believes in God, then in the real Messiah too, otherwise he wouldn’t be in constant fight against Him as the antichrist.  
We don’t simply have to talk about the Anointed King while making the testimony of the Messiah, but we also should teach the deeper meaning of all the names He received from God together with the final aim of His return on earth. 
But who is He really? 

 

"Messiahs"

 

During the second Temple, the name of the high priest was HaCohen-HaMashiach and the name of the king was Mashiach-HaShem. Moreover, Cyrus the king of Persia (in Isaiah), together with Israel (Psalms 28 and 84 and Habakkuk 3) and the patriarchs (Psalms 105), also all received the name of "Anointed", it means the name of Messiah-HaMashiach-Christos.  
Besides them were some people pretending to be the Messiah, false Messiahs.   
According to Josephus and the Talmud, many of those false Messiahs existed during the roman oppression, under the reign of the Hasmoneans before the destruction of the Temple. Some Zealots as Menahem ben Judah and others like Theudas and Bar Kochba himself were seen as Messiahs and some of them were even crucified for this reason.  
Many Messiahs were worshiped amongst the Caraites in the east and then also amongst the Muslims.
False Messiahs appeared regularly during history until the year 1700. Their influence is unfortunately still perceptible most of all within certain Jewish circles called "Hasidic". Many where considered as being the messengers or the prophets of these false Messiahs. Today they have still many followers who continue to worship them sometimes even by trying to get in touch with their dead spirits.  
The main and common characteristic of all those false Messiahs is that their teachings were all based on the basic dogmas of the eastern religions (reincarnation, self redemption and Cabbala helping to reach perfection).

We are here talking about ordinary impostors who could handle their people through their fears and hopes in very hard times of crisis and chaos. Many times, they even went as far as coming in terms with the enemy in order to reach their goals. 
It is then not surprising to see that these swindlers often converted to Islam or Catholicism while going on proclaiming their Jewish origin while trying to gather all religions, faiths and credos under the same institution so trying to build a kind of early syncretism.   
The last false Messiah recorded was Frank Jacob (1726-1791) follower of Shabbatai Zevi, founder of the mystic sect: the shabbateans.  
Frank did not simply believe in reincarnation, but he considered himself as being the reincarnation of David, Elijah, Jesus, Mohamed and Shabbatai at the same time.

 

Are there false Messiahs and their followers today? What can we do in front of this problem?

 

After this short and slight report about the subject, it would be needed to name and talk about the false Messiahs of our age.    
This denunciation would be compulsory although we cannot talk about concrete men by naming them precisely. Their spirit does never die and are still rising up again and again under different forms according to the ages. Today, they really do not appear under the shape of a precise man but rather as new movements and trends.    
Our age is although very similar to those when these counterfeiters and the spirits that manipulate them rose up to give hope to those who were impatiently waiting for the Messiah.  
Then we don’t have to be surprised to see appearing many antichrists and false prophets announcing the prophecies of the Bible... 
But today it would be less individuals than movements that will persuade masses of faithful people. The delegates of those movements will do amazing miracles to blind and mislead many people even amongst the chosen ones; it means the Jews and the members of the Body of Christ, in order to prepare the way to the big and last Antichrist.  
This is why it is necessary to be careful with those who do it as Jews or dressed up like Jews, acting like Jews and pretending to be Jewish. We particularly have to be careful with those who pretend to be Jews for Christ. 
This evil work can easily hide behind the veil of Messianic Judaism.  
A whole chapter should be dedicated to analyze and show these movements through the light of the Word and Prophecies.  A serious mess can set up in people’s mind if the real sense of the word Messianic, the true nature of Judaism and the concrete aims of these two are not defined in a very precise way. Confusion and division are not the characteristics of God.   
The root of all confusion is ambiguity and false speech. When some truth or half-truth is emphasized while veiling the real facts. Lie is source of confusion.  
Today’s big state of confusion among Christendom is no other than the antechamber of the coming chaos in which Satan and his antichrist spirit will easily snap the little fish that have been blinded by the swirl. (Surely did he already swallow a lot of them).  
The only way to defend ourselves against these false Messiahs and anti-Messiahs hiding behind the word of Messianic is to warn each other by revealing the peculiar lies at the light of the Word.  

We also have to do this work in order to avoid that Jews really living Judaism in accordance with the Torah as members of the Body of Christ would be expelled by Christians.  
We are also doing it because the Jewish community of Hungary is not only sensible in spirit but also because it feels and recognizes clearly this power that tried to convert, destroy and assimilate it by force through many centuries.   
Even if today this devil work is done in a much more discreet way using flattery to approach Jews, Christians and the world in an easier way. Thank God, Hungarian Jewry is consciously or not, but entirely based on the Laws of God, on the Torah. It is its only one and big defense against these spirits. It means that no reformist movement or any other assimilation could never reach them. 
This way, they reject any form of Judaism which has gone away from the Torah such as reformed Judaism or any other Hasidic movement coming from the former Soviet Union. The same way, no Sadducee or Caraite spirit will ever charm them and they will never accept any so called "Messianic" movement coming from these trends. These movements will never take any root in Hungary or will not have any big role and will end by drying out.
These movements although gain strength as soon as they unite to antichrist spirits of their age such as many pseudo-Messianic movements already did it through history.  
Of course, we are here talking about movements that aim to unify the big monotheist religions, false Ecumenism and the "Church of the World" that are in close relation with these spirits. Mysticism is indeed quiet present too: this mysticism that has already wormed its way into Christianity and which is clearly active under the name of false charismatic or charismatic sorcery. 
These spirits generally coming from the Far East and tribal religions from Africa and South America are perpetuated in Catholicism which adopt and recycle them in order to make some new trendy products on the Christian market. 
The Jewish community, in its restless seek of peace and love for the others and for life in general, was stroke head on by the spirit of self redemption of the New Age, by the false peace (Nirvana), by reincarnation thought by Hinduism, by "modern" Christians also infected by New Age and by certain branches of Messianic Judaism.  

We arrived now to a crucial stage of the history of Salvation. We can see that the spirits of Edom that is endlessly fighting God and His People is today more active than ever. It is not simply antisemitic but today it is anti-Judaic too.  
The People of God has only one chance to survive and to be protected:
By living under the cover of the Shekhinah (the presence of the Spirit of God) under the rule of Yeshua HaMashiach of Nazareth. The Jewish People has no other choice than go on over this path and serve the Lord in order to testify who is the real Messiah of this world. This Messiah which is no other than the unbreakable unity of the Holy Trinity: the increasing, purifying and sanctifying power of the Holy Trinity in our lives.  

- When we are using the words Messianic or Messianism today, we must make the visible and hearable testimony that the Messiah is Yeshua HaMashiach of Nazareth! 
We must show that Jesus is alive and that He is ruling and coming back soon on earth as the Anointed King (Christ, and Messiah).  
Besides this testimony, we must talk about the prophecies concerning Him and about His power too. Not only do we have to talk about the fulfilled prophecies but also about those that are being fulfilled now and that still have to come.   
We don’t have to talk about Him just as the Messiah who was announced in the prophecies and who walked here on earth, but we also have to talk about the One who today is still present as the ruling Lord. The reality of His forthcoming return, of His constant work, of His coming judgment and of the promises of God that have been fulfilled in Him must be declared and clear before everyone.  

- When anyone uses the terms of Messiah or Messianic, it is well recommended not only to state who the real Messiah of God is, but also to examine if the word Messiah does really appoint the One who was born in Nazareth and who was offered in sacrifice for our sins. We must do it for our own interest but also for the others. We must always check out if it is really question of the Savior, the Redeemer, the King and the Son of God.

There is no more famous false Messiah today whose name would be known by everyone. However there are some devil people who rise up from time to time pretending to be the Messiah. They sometimes even achieve to gather some followers around themselves. 
In Jerusalem, there is a special unit of the local police which arrests each year dozens of those insane people pretending to be the Messiah and confine them to a mental institution.   
We must know one thing: The demons that have been chassed away, the expelled spirits do not die because of our ministries. They are going on their way searching for the next victim, a new harbor to live in while also trying to take possession again of the delivered person.
It is just the same with the spirit of Edom, of the antichrist, of antisemitism and anti-Judaism which do not die either. They even get stronger and stronger nowadays using the weapon of lie, swindle and much more in order to mislead us.

Let us then ask God to give us the gift of discernment. Let us implore for the light and the power of the Spirit of God. Let us ask for the leading of the Holy Spirit who always warns us and guides us into all truth. We need that in order that the angel of the Light who gives him off to be the Messiah could mislead the least souls as possible.   
The judgment of the false Messiahs belongs to the Lord. The moment of their apparition was already given to us through the prophecies. But we still have to defend ourselves against these impostors by asking the Lord of the Armies to protect us and deliver us from them.   

As Jews living under the rule of Yeshua HaMashiach of Nazareth and led by the Holy Spirit, we have the responsibility to defend and warn the Body of Christ and the Chosen People against these antichrist dangers by sharing in public the vision and all the experience we have concerning the problem.   
We are not doing this for our own business or interest but rather because it was mainly given to us through the power of Christ to be able to feel, unveil and chasse away all the false rules and powers that are using the name of Jewish and Messianic to prepare the forthcoming of the Antichrist. 

Our life and ministry as Jews do not stop at the simple testimony of Yeshua. Our calling is also talking about the old, actual and future prophecies concerning the return of Christ.   
Then we have to profess a pure faith without any confusion before everyone, so that we should not fall ourselves under the same judgment as these false Messiahs, false Messianic and false Jews. 

An unexpressed and invisible profession of faith is a sin which creates further sins itself.   
In the worst case, it is a matter of a misleading silence, a lie which is waiting for being judged by God.
