Teachings
Music - Songs - Dances
Hallelujah, glory ... and then?
Yaakov, Béla Orbán
When half-truths are veiling the entire Truth
Some days ago, I was preaching in an assembly in Paris made of African faithfuls.
Nothing seemed uncommon to me. Neither the vision of the childish dancing assembly nor the noise and volume of the music was surprising since I’ve already experienced such worship during my ministries in Paris and Africa.
I am used to see enormous assemblies dancing and yelling to the sound of the praise. The level of its volume is practically unknown here in Europe.
However that day I noticed something that made me very sad.
I was sad because I saw how Satan is using the arm of division and half-truths throughout the world!
Here, we could constantly hear Hallelujah, the word expressing our gratitude towards God.
Then came the word glory which is used to express the Lord’s majesty.
Gratitude and glorification…
However I had the feeling that something was terribly missing in all this ceremony!
I was listening to these words and all seemed to be so impersonal, unilateral and empty. Indeed Someone was missing from all this!
Of course it was impersonal since one couldn’t perceive any humility and obedience beside these words. All these Christian songs were so far from Christ.
This emptiness made me remember all the cults I took part to in the past during my long Christian life and I realized that the situation is far from being different in our country.
People express their gratitude towards God, they glorify him but they do never reach the point when they are able to go before Him with dignity.
Because they just stop at singing these words that became some commonplace.
Although these words are true and necessary something has been veiled and emptied!
An order has been torn down or has become incomplete. Or even this order has been converted to some superficial ″soulish″ and sentimental outburst!
An order that was spiritual in the past has been broken and found itself in the level of human soul.
This is how Satan hides Truth beside half-truths!
Thanks God, I have plenty of experience from my past to be able to discern and compare things.
It is not too difficult and we don’t have to dig too deep to find this spiritual order that we all should live when we are going before God.
Let us once more look to the Jewish faithful as an example:
The same example that we also live as Jews living in Yeshua HaMashiach in our daily life.
The list is not complete but it is a summary that should be an example for us in its content:
HALLELUJAH
- The first prayer of the Jews in the morning is the prayer of grace.
We thank God for having been able to wake up, for having received the Law (the Torah) and for many other reasons too.
BARUKH ATA ADONAI
- Then come the blessings through which we bless the Lord for having given us his laws and our daily bread.
He gave us instructions for our daily life and He also provided us with everything.
We bless the Creator for having created everything that we need.
We bless Him for having put a dress upon us.
We bless Him for the opportunity of being in His hands all day long and in every moment of our life.
The main part of the Morning Prayer is the Psalms 90 and 91.
We bless God for having been beside us.
But this is not enough to start the day. We also have to beg His help since we really need it every day. We have to ask for His protection, His covering and aid before starting anything.
We ask for all these through the words of Psalm 91.
Everyday, before starting a day, we say the word:
HOSANNA – Please save us now!
And to cap all what have been recited before, we are glorifying and praising God through prayers profesing the testimonies of the Lord through us with us and inside of us.
I did never want to initiate anyone to the Jewish liturgy and even less to make a non-Jewish to become a Jew.
The aim of this teaching is to make our cults blossom and to fulfill our lifes in Yeshua HaMashiach. I would like to see everyone living in order inside the body of Christ.
Because as long as someone does not start his day giving thanks and blessing the Creator, the Almighty and the Eternal God in every minute of his life, the People of God remains insubordinate.
As long as someone does not bless Yeshua HaMashiach at the same time, he will not make the testimony of his life submitted to the Anointed King neither before God nor before men.
As long as the words of worship and grace will not be pronounced from the bottom of our hearth, we should not hope any blessing coming from the Creator, the Almighty and the Eternal God nor from the Anointed King, Yeshua HaMashiach!
The blessing of our own life depends on our blessing towards the Lord and our unction of the Eternal, the King Messiah so that He can act in us. In other words, our words of worship allow the Holy Spirit – God’s and Yeshua’s Spirit – to act inside of us.
Do not expect anything either if you did not ask the authorization and the help of the King Messiah before doing anything and going anywhere.
The fact of confessing our weakness and helplessness without his help is not the proof of our fear but rather the proof of our obedience to Him. We all must daily ask and accept the rule of the King Messiah who is coming back soon.
Just as in the past when we could hear the shouting of ″Hosanna″ in the streets of Jerusalem when the King entered the Holy City sitting on a donkey. It was only after this that the crowd started to glorify Him.
Today, many people think that songs and other worships filled with the words of Halleluya and Gloiry do have a big impact on the spiritual world and that this way they will get gifts and other spiritual blessings of all sorts.
But when the hallels (halleluyas) are not followed by brakhas (blessings), and when the words of Hosanna (asking for help) to the King cannot be heard, it is unnecessary to wait for any change in our lives.
Although we are testifying the heavenly glory of God, we are not the part of it because of our gaps and negligence.
When the least part of this wonderful quadruple order between God and man is missing in our lives, we fall deeper and deeper into the simple joy overflowing of the religious man who has lost every spiritual contact with God and being far from Yeshua HaMashiach’s rule. Such a religious person lives in ambivalence at the level of the soul and will remain spiritually empty and unsatisfied.
We can see many joyful worships, that are just enough to grant the survival of its participants. In these kinds of celebrations, we can only find some joyful ″soulish″ freaks just confiding in themselves instead of being obedient faithful. These ones are more Christians than people belonging to Christ.
This is how half-truths, half-orders or even dualism can stop anyone during his spiritual growth.
The whole Truth is veiled by some details. And hiding the Truth is the interest of someone. This is how Satan is dividing biblical truths by reducing community praises and songs from the level of the spirit to the level of the soul.
To go before God, to walk with him and to live under the rule of the King Messiah is a well defined succession and order.
Let us give thank to him everyday by praising him, blessing him, by asking for his help and by going to prostrate before his throne in humility while glorifying him.
Only the one who says these words of Hosanna to the Lord and to Yeshua HaMashiach is really able to go on in sprit with the hallelujah while always glorifying God and the name which is above all other names: Yeshua HaMashiach…
We are glorifying his Holy Name and giving thank to him while asking by faith for his help in every circumstances!
Do not let Satan destroy this unity in our lives and making it becoming impersonal.
The problem is not the high number of hallelujahs and glories but it is their use without Hosanna which is just formal and spiritualy deprived of any sense.
Should our psychical and fanatic joy turn to be the absolute joy of God and of his Holy Spirit.
