Our Foundation (http://chaim.uw.hu ) would like to run an office in Budapest for

Charity work:

• it would be a place to come for people in need
  

• it would have an appropriate place for storing donations 

• it would be a place to come for Jews, living  in need, who were born after the Holocaust. These people have been injured psychically, they are from the underprivileged part of the society, and they miss out on all kind of restitutions and aid. 

• We have been working in Sub-Carpathia (Ukraine), Transylvania (Romania), Voyvodina (Serbia), South and East Hungary, but it is necessary now to improve our ministry in Budapest as well, as there are around 70,000- 80,000 Jews here.

• According to the events of the last months, a new wave of Aliyah is expected soon. Recently many people have asked us for help, and in the area (West-Ukraine, Transylvania) of our charity work many of them told us, that soon they would like to make Aliyah. 

• For preparing to do it, we have been getting in touch with organizations, working in this field. 

• This ministry is especially for those, who are Jews by birth, it is provable, but don’t have relations with Jewish organizations. Their parents and grandparents have been assimilated, or have hidden their identity because of their fears, or because of the political situation.

 Our plans are getting more and more important and topical.
